Welcome to the new Ritz Chamber Players website! In addition to launching the new site and unveiling our rebranded image, we are in the midst of numerous other exciting transformations that we hope will increase the reach and impact of the Ritz Chamber Music Society.

The 2009-2010 season, our 8th under the guidance of Artistic Director and Founder Terrance Patterson, has truly been a remarkable year. In October, the group began its residency at The Juilliard School as part of its Music Advancement Program, a project designed to train and develop minority music students in New York City schools. On stage, the ensemble performed at Kennesaw State University to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the NAACP, marking the commencement of what we hope to be a long-lasting and thriving partnership with the Atlanta community.

Behind the scenes, we’ve reshaped our administration to be better equipped for a successful future. Last fall, we established the J. Wayne and Delores Weaver Growth and Awareness Initiative to solidify our infrastructure and lead us into the 2012 anniversary concert and beyond! As Development Coordinator for the Ritz Chamber Music Society, I am thrilled to play a role in the growth of our emerging arts organization. Being the official correspondent for our community and educational outreach efforts, I look forward to sharing news of our work here “In the Community.” And as part of our team, we hope you are just as excited as we are!
