1. Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory: A historic place where every major Russian composer and artist can find his roots. At its opening in 1866, Tchaikovsky was made professor of theory and harmony, and the venue took his name in 1940. It was humbling to perform on a stage that has shaped such musicians.
